Every year, on 7 and 8 November, the Kyrgyz Republic commemorates the Days of History and Memory of Ancestors, paying tribute to those who endured profound historical trials and whose courage and sacrifices helped preserve the national identity, freedom and statehood of the Kyrgyz people.
These commemorative days underscore the importance of safeguarding the nation's historical legacy, honouring the memory of previous generations and passing their heritage on to future generations.
TURKPA recognizes the importance of preserving the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people as an integral part of the shared heritage of the Turkic world and pays tribute to the memory of all those whose lives and contributions have shaped the history of the brotherly Kyrgyz people.
