On behalf of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) and in my personal capacity, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the people and leadership of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of the Day of the Restoration of Independence, celebrated on 18 October.
This historic day embodies the Azerbaijani people's unwavering determination, unity, and steadfast commitment to safeguarding their statehood, national identity, and sovereign rights.
Under the visionary leadership of the country, the Republic of Azerbaijan has made remarkable strides in strengthening its statehood, advancing sustainable development, restoring its territorial integrity, and enhancing its standing and prestige in the international arena.
On this auspicious occasion, I reaffirm TURKPA commitment to further strengthening our close cooperation and advancing the shared goals of our nations. I wish the brotherly people of Azerbaijan lasting peace, prosperity, and continued progress.
