Statement by the Secretary General of TURKPA on the Occasion of the National Day of Hungary

On behalf of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) and in my personal capacity, I have the honour to extend my sincere congratulations to the Government and the people of Hungary on the occasion of the National Day of Hungary, celebrated on 23 October.
This important national occasion provides an opportunity to celebrate Hungary’s rich historical and cultural heritage and to pay tribute to the Hungarian people’s enduring commitment to the country’s development, progress and prosperity.
Highly valuing Hungary’s contribution to fostering dialogue and strengthening cooperation with the Turkic States, TURKPA reaffirms its commitment to further deepening its partnership with Hungary and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation.
On this auspicious occasion, I wish the Government and the people of Hungary continued peace, prosperity, well-being and further success.
