Message of the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States on the occasion of 6 February "Day of Remembrance of Disaster Victims and Solidarity"

February 6 was declared as the "Day of Remembrance of Disaster Victims and Solidarity" at the 10th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held on 3 November 2023 in Astana. The Turkic world demonstrated unity and solidarity by promptly responding to the horrific tragedy caused by the devastating earthquakes in the southeastern regions of Türkiye. The Turkic world has been active both at the state level and through individuals from different countries. Reaffirming our unwavering unity and solidarity in challenging times, we hope that such tragedies will never happen again and wish everyone a prosperous and peaceful life. The TURKPA Secretariat, once again, prays for the mercy of Allah for those who lost their lives and wishes a speedy recovery to those who are receiving treatment.
