TURKPA Secretary General meets with the Prime Minister of the TRNC

On 18 April 2026, in Antalya, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan met with the Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), H.E. Mr. Ünal Üstel, within the framework of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as the development of relations with the TRNC, within the framework of TURKPA. They also touched upon the support provided by brotherly states for the recognition of the TRNC, along with the initiatives undertaken by the TRNC, and the opportunities for expanding cooperation across various fields.

It was reaffirmed that TURKPA will continue to support the TRNC Assembly, as well as other governmental institutions in their endeavors.

The Secretary General was accompanied at the meeting by his Deputy Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali, and the Secretary of the Commission Ms. Aynura Abutalibova.
