TURKPA Secretary General attends Official Reception of the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC)

On 24 September 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan attended the official reception organized by the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC) in honor of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, as part of his official visit to New York City, United States, to participate in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The reception brought together leading political figures of Türkiye and the United States, state and government officials, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, leaders of Turkish and Muslim communities in the United States, heads of major holdings and corporations, as well as prominent figures from the business and academic communities, members of the Government of the Republic of Türkiye, ministers and members of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. In his opening remarks, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of solidarity and joint action among Turkish communities residing in the United States.

On the margins of the event, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan met with the President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and provided a brief overview of TURKPA’s activities, recent initiatives and the Organization’s key priorities and areas of focus.
