TURKPA International Referendum Observation Mission observes voting process in Turkistan

On the day of the nationwide referendum in the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the TURKPA International Referendum Observation Mission carry out monitoring of the voting process in the city of Turkistan.

The Mission members observed the opening of polling stations at 07:00 and throughout the referendum day, the Mission will continue visiting polling stations in Turkistan until the end of voting at 20:00 to observe the voting procedures and assess the organization of the voting process.

TURKPA International Referendum Observation Mission conducts observation of the referendum in the cities of Astana, Almaty and Turkistan of Kazakhstan. Turkistan group of the Mission is composed of the Members of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mr. Tahir Akyürek, Mrs. Filiz Kılıç and Mr. Kadim Durmaz, TURKPA International Secretariat staff – Secretary of Commission Mr. Kadir Yaman and Research Expert Ms. Kamila Muzaffarli, and parliamentary staff from Türkiye, Legislative Expert Mr. Ercan Durdular.
