TURKPA delegation meets with the Prime Minister of the TRNC

On 19 July 2026, a delegation of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), led by Acting Deputy Secretary General of TURKPA Mr. Bektur Bazakechov and representing the Secretary General of TURKPA, met with H.E. Mr. Ünal Üstel, Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), within the framework of its visit to the TRNC.

During the meeting, discussions focused on further expanding cooperation between TURKPA and the TRNC, as well as on the prospects for the TRNC’s participation in TURKPA in its capacity as an observer.

Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations Dr. Kadir Yaman also attended the meeting.
