President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Sadyr Japarov receives the Speakers of the Parliaments of the TURKPA Member States and Secretary General of TURKPA

On 20 October 2026, President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Sadyr Japarov received the Speakers of the Parliaments of the TURKPA Member States and the Secretary General of TURKPA in Bishkek.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 15th Plenary Session and the 15th Meeting of the Council of TURKPA in Bishkek.

The Head of State assessed the meeting as a clear testament to the friendship and mutual trust between the brotherly states and reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan’s interest in further developing cooperation within the framework of TURKPA.

He emphasized that the Assembly’s activities are aimed at strengthening ties between the brotherly states and promoting deeper cooperation in the trade, economic, transport, energy, digital and humanitarian spheres.

In turn, the Speakers of the Parliaments thanked President H.E. Sadyr Japarov for the warm reception and highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s important role in strengthening the unity of the Turkic world.

They also underscored TURKPA’s significance in advancing interparliamentary cooperation, supporting integration processes and expanding cooperation among the brotherly states.

Particular attention was paid to further strengthening ties within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, as well as preserving the shared values and national identity of the Turkic peoples.
