TURKPA Secretary General received the Director of the Baku Branch of the IPA CIS IIMDD

On 5 March 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan received the Director of the Baku Branch of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarianism and Suffrage Protection of Citizens of IPA CIS Member Nations (IPA CIS IIMDD) Mr. Ramil Rzayev at the TURKPA International Secretariat.

Mr. Rzayev expressed his sincere gratitude to Ambassador Hasan for the warm welcome and hospitality, noting that his very first official engagement in his capacity as Director of the IPA CIS IIMDD was a visit to the TURKPA International Secretariat.

Underscoring the strategic importance and growing role of TURKPA in the international arena, Mr. Rzayev emphasized its ongoing activities and developments.

In turn, the Secretary General underscored the long-standing partnership between the TURKPA and IPA CIS, and highlighted his recent meeting with the IPA CIS Secretary General Mr. Dmitriy Kobitskiy held on the margins of the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.

At the same time, the Secretary General briefed the participants on the current and future activities of the Organization.

The sides expressed their readiness to continue supporting efforts aimed at further strengthening relations and advancing the longstanding partnership between TURKPA and the IPA CIS.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Director Ms. Nigar Aliyeva, and Adviser Ms. Narmin Mahmudova from the IPA CIS IIMDD, and by Deputy Secretary General Mr. Talgat Aduov, and Public Relations Officer Ms. Fidan Majidli on behalf of the TURKPA International Secretariat
