TURKPA Secretary General participates in the International Conference in Saint Petersburg

On 20 May 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan participated in the International Round Table entitled “Deradicalization and Social Reintegration of Individuals Involved in the Illegal Activities of Terrorist and Extremist Organizations: Opportunities and Prospects,” organized by the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS) and the Base Organization for Research, where he delivered a speech.

The event served as an important platform highlighting the continued cooperation and constructive relations between TURKPA and the IPA CIS, while also providing an opportunity to discuss the importance of parliamentary diplomacy, regional cooperation, and coordinated international efforts in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as promoting sustainable peace, security, and a safer future for coming generations across the region.

During the Round Table, representatives of various international organizations and other institutions shared their insights and exchanged views on the issues under discussion.
