TURKPA observation mission held press conference on presidential elections in Kazakhstan

On 27 April 2015, Mr. Chingiz Ganizade, head of the TURKPA international observers’ mission, gave the press conference on conclusions of its short-term monitoring of early presidential elections held in Kazakhstan on 26 April 2015. Mr. Ganizade informed Kazakh mass media on the activities of the mission from 24 to 27 April and presented mission’s assessments during the visit to the polling stations in Astana and examination of election environment on the ground. TURKPA international observers’ mission concluded that the presidential elections held in the Republic of Kazakhstan on 26 April 2015 in general met the international elections standards.
