TURKPA Mission met with Head of Mazhilis of Kazakh Parliament

On 19 June 2022, TURKPA Election Observation Mission headed by Mr. Erol Kaya, member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and composed of the parliamentarians from Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye, as well as the representatives of the TURKPA Secretariat met with Mr. Yerlan Koshanov, Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Head of Parliament noted the importance of the early election of the President of Kazakhstan as a political process that will ensure the further development of the country solely on a democratic basis. Head of Mission wished success to Kazakh people in the upcoming election and emphasized that the rapid development of Kazakhstan is of great importance for the entire region. Mr. Kaya expressed hope that results of the upcoming election would contribute to the further progress and prosperity of the country.
