TURKPA International EOM met with Kyrgyz Deputy Foreign Minister

On 28 November 2025, the TURKPA International Election Observation Mission, led by Vice-Chairman of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, Mr. Abzal Kuspan, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Meder Abakirov. The mission also included Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Serik Shaidarov, and TURKPA Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Saky Sadykov. Upon welcoming the Mission, the Deputy Minister noted that the Kyrgyz Republic attaches great significance to the activities of TURKPA, emphasizing the Assembly’s role in the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation. He also informed the Mission about preparations for the early parliamentary elections and the measures undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this context. Mr. Meder Abakirov briefed the Mission on the electoral system and election administration, underscoring the transparency and openness of the electoral process, the application of advanced and digital technologies, and the smooth and well-organized preparation for and conduct of the elections. In turn, Head of the TURKPA International Election Observation Mission, Mr. Abzal Kuspan, expressed his sincere gratitude for the warm welcome and the excellent conditions provided for election observation, and wished success in the conduct of the elections.
