TURKPA International Election Observation Mission met with Chairman of CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic

On 29 November 2025, TURKPA International Election Observation Mission held meeting with the Chairman of the Central Commission for Elections and Referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic (CEC) Mr. Tynchtyk Shainazarov.
Chairman of the CEC expressed pleasure to welcome the members of the TURKPA Mission as representatives of the fraternal Turkic States.
Mr. Shainazarov informed the Mission on the main features of the early parliamentary elections. Noting that 100 polling stations were established abroad to conduct the out-of-country voting, Chairman of the CEC touched on the polling stations established in the Turkic States. He briefed the Mission on the new voting equipment, and remote voting option applied for these elections.
The members of the Mission expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and wishes that the elections will be successfully conducted in favor of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The parties underlined the rapidly developing cooperation among the Turkic States and the role of TURKPA in these processes. In this context, Chairman of the CEC also noted the importance of the Advisory Platform of Central Election Authorities (APCEA) of the Turkic States that was established upon the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, under the auspices of the OTS in the “Spiritual Capital of the Turkic World” – Turkistan, Kazakhstan on 14 May 2025.
The program of the Mission also included the participation in the presentation of the CEC on the early parliamentary elections for international observers as well as official lunch on behalf of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and Reception on behalf of the Chairman of the CEC.
TURKPA international election and referendum observation missions have been observing national elections and referenda in Turkic States since 2010. TURKPA International Election Observation Mission formed to conduct the short-term monitoring of the early parliamentary elections in the Kyrgyz Republic of 30 November 2025, is composed of the Members of Parliament from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Türkiye, representatives of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan, staff members of the TURKPA International Secretariat and parliamentary staff from Türkiye. The Mission is headed by the Vice-Chair of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations, Member of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Abzal Kuspan.
