TURKPA delegation joined the ceremony marking the 15th Anniversary of the Turkic Academy

On 18 November 2025, the Deputy Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), Saky Sadykov, along with the Secretary of the Commission, Kadir Yaman, participated in the high-level event marking the 15th Anniversary of the International Turkic Academy, held in Ankara. The anniversary ceremony hosted a prominent gathering of dignitaries from various sectors. The guest list featured OTS Council of Elders members, representative of the Government of Türkiye, heads of international organizations, and prominent academicians, alongside high-level delegations from OTS, TURKSOY, the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, and UNESCO National Commission of Türkiye. As part of the official protocol speeches, Deputy Secretary General Sadykov addressed the participants. In his speech, he commended the International Turkic Academy for its pivotal role over the past 15 years in strengthening the scientific and cultural bonds across the Turkic world. Mr. Sadykov highlighted the Academy's successful execution of its core mission, which is evidenced by dozens of comprehensive scientific projects, hundreds of scholarly publications, and numerous international conferences that have effectively promoted Turkic history, language, and culture on the global stage. In closing his address, he expressed his confidence that their fruitful cooperation would continue to deepen, driven by their shared goals and common aspirations for a prosperous future for the entire Turkic world.
