TRNC Representative to Baku Ambassador Turganer visited the TURKPA Secretary General

On 3 November 2025, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TURKPA), H.E. Ambassador Ramil Hasan, welcomed Representative of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) in Baku, H.E. Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, to the TURKPA Secretariat for a courtesy visit. During the meeting, Secretary General Hasan shared the strong messages of support he had received from Speakers of Parliaments and Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Turkic States in his official contacts following his appointment. Expressing his contentment with the TRNC Republic Assembly's observer membership in TURKPA, Mr. Hasan emphasized his belief that opportunities for cooperation with observer members would expand further in the new period. During his visit, TRNC Baku Representative Ambassador Turganer congratulated Ambassador Hasan on his election as TURKPA Secretary General and wished him success in his work. Ambassador Turganer also thanked Secretary General Hasan for his support on the Cyprus issue to date. The meeting was also attended by Third Secretary Görkem Reis from the TRNC Representative Office in Baku, Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali and Secretary of Commission Kadir Yaman from the TURKPA International Secretariat.
