Secretary General took part at events organized by embassies of Turkic states in Hungary

During his visit to Hungary to take part at the Hun-Turk Kurultai, Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er attended the events organized by the embassies of Turkic states in Budapest on 8-9 August 2024. On 8 August, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary held a Reception on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, which was an important stage in the history of statehood of Kyrgyzstan. On 9 August, Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye to Hungary held a Reception on the occasion of the Hun-Turk Kurultai 2024. On the same day, a commemorative ceremony on the occasion of the Abai Day was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary at the statue of Kazakh poet and thinker Abai in Budapest City Park. During the event, the participants made speeches and laid flowers at the statue of Abai, and the poems of Abai were read in Kazakh and Hungarian languages. The events organized by the embassies of Turkic states were attended by the heads and representatives of Turkic cooperation organizations, representatives of diplomatic corps and other guests.
