President of the Republic of Kazakhstan received TURKPA delegation

On 12 June 2025, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the delegation of TURKPA composed of the Chairperson of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, Chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismoilov, Speaker of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ziya Öztürkler and Secretary General of TURKPA Mehmet Süreyya Er. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the members of the delegation who visited Astana to participate in the 14th Plenary Session of TURKPA and expressed confidence that the Plenary Session will be fruitful. The Head of State stated that Kazakhstan fully supports TURKPA, which is an important political institution exerting a special influence on the economic, cultural and humanitarian development of the Turkic states. He emphasized that its potential should be harnessed in pursuit of the common goals of the Turkic World. The President noted with satisfaction that in recent years, a number of significant projects and initiatives have been implemented, giving strong momentum to the deepening of Turkic integration. In conclusion, the Head of State underlined that this meeting once again clearly demonstrated the unity of purpose and the importance of preserving and strengthening the solidarity among the countries of the Turkic World. TURKPA delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to deepening and enriching cooperation in the Turkic World.
