Establishment Day of Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

The establishment of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation was decided at the initiative of the president of Azerbaijan and with the support of the presidents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye at the meeting of the Turkic Council (now the Organization of Turkic States) held in Bishkek on 23 August 2012. Based in Baku, the distinguished city of the Turkic world, the foundation continues its activities to preserve, develop, strengthen and promote the heritage of Turkic peoples in the fields of handicrafts, folklore, history, literature and other cultural fields. As TURKPA family, we sincerely congratulate the 12th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, which encompasses an indispensable dimension of Turkic cooperation.
