TURKPA Secretary General meets with Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Parti Kürşad Zorlu

On 16 June 2026, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States Ambassador Ramil Hasan held a meeting with Mr. Kürşad Zorlu, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Parti (AK Parti) on relations with Turkic States and Member of Parliament of Türkiye, during his official engagements in the Republic of Türkiye.

During the meeting, an extensive exchange of views took place on TURKPA’s ongoing projects, its work accomplished to date, the development of cooperation among the legislative bodies of Turkic states, the advancement of inter-parliamentary relations to a new stage, as well as the organization’s future areas of activity and plans.

In turn, Mr. Kürşad Zorlu expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Ramil Hasan for the organization’s active work, commended the efforts made to promote relations among the fraternal Turkic States and to ensure coordinated cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States. Mr. Zorlu further reiterated his readiness to provide all possible support in this regard.

The Deputy Secretary General Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali accompanied the Secretary General during the meeting.
