On 5–8 May 2026, TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali participated in the “4th Turkic World International Engineering Conference,” organized by the Türkiye–Azerbaijan Businessmen and Industrialists Public Union (TÜİB) and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

The Conference brought together prominent representatives from government institutions, the public sector, academia, and the business community of the Turkic States, serving as an important platform for fostering cooperation, advancing technological development, and promoting joint initiatives aimed at building a shared future across the Turkic World.

The session featured protocol speeches by he President of the Turkish Engineers Association Mr. Yaşar Yekebağci, President of Türkiye Kamu-Sen (Turkish Public Employees' Union) Mr. Önder Kahveci, TÜRKSOY Deputy Secretary Mr. Sait Yusuf, Deputy Head of Cyber Security Directorate Mr. Yusuf Tancan, Deputy Head of Foreign Relations at the AK Party Headquarters Mr. Levent Ali Yildiz, AK Party Istanbul Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and the Economy Commission of the AİBPA Mr. Şamil Ayrim, Deputy Chairman of the MHP responsible for Professional and Civil Society Organizations, and Member of Parliament for Ankara Mr. Yaşar Yildirim, and Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, Head of Relations with Turkic States, and AK Party Member of Parliament for Ankara Mr. Kürşad Zorlu.

The summit programme included a wide range of sessions focusing on key areas such as joint engineering education, the defence industry, energy and sustainability, earthquake-resistant construction, cybersecurity, and the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence across the Turkic World.

The Deputy Secretary General was accompanied by Research Expert Ms. Kamila Muzaffarli.
