TURKPA Secretary General handed over his duties

On 15 October 2025, the handover Ceremony of the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) was held at the TURKPA premises with the participation of TURKPA staff and the representatives of the mass media. During the ceremony, the Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er officially handed over his duties to the newly elected Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan. The event also featured the symbolic handover of the TURKPA flag. On this occasion, the parties briefly exchanged views on the future activities and priorities of the Organization, and wished each other every success in their future endeavors. Ambassador Ramil Hasan was elected as the Secretary General of TURKPA on 12 June 2025, during the Fourteenth Plenary Session of TURKPA held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
