TURKPA Secretary General receives delegation of the Union of Orthopedists of the Turkic World

On 3 September 2026, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Ambassador Ramil Hasan received a delegation of orthopedists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Uzbekistan who arrived to participate in the International Congress of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of the Turkic States, to be held in Azerbaijan on 4–5 September.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed, and the TURKPA Secretary General provided the guests with detailed information on the activities of TURKPA, its projects, and future plans.

In turn, the members of the Union of Orthopedists, including Chairman of the Azerbaijan Orthopedic Society Prof. Dr. Aydin Gahramanov, Chairman of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of Kazakhstan Prof. Dr. Arman Batpen, Chairman of the Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of the Kyrgyz Republic Prof. Dr. Sabyrbek Dzhumabekov, Chairman of the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology Prof. Dr. Önder Kalenderer, Chairman of the Congress Organizing Committee of the Turkish Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology Prof. Dr. Berk Güçlü (TRNC), and representative of the Orthopedics Association of the Republic of Uzbekistan Prof. Dr. Artur Mahmudov, expressed their gratitude to the TURKPA Secretary General for facilitating the organization of this meeting. They also provided detailed information on the projects and future plans of the Turkic World Orthopedists Association, as well as the International Congress of Traumatologists and Orthopedists of the Turkic States to be held in Baku, and expressed their appreciation for the support of TURKPA for the Association in its future activities.

The meeting concluded with a cordial exchange of views.
