TURKPA participates in the GPLS at ADA University

On 18 June 2026, Acting Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs Mr. Mirlan Usenkanov attended the Global Perspectives Lecture Series (GPLS) on “Azerbaijan–Syria Relations”, organized by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy at ADA University.

The event brought together representatives of academia, diplomatic missions, international organizations and students, providing a platform for discussions on regional developments, post-conflict reconstruction, and prospects for strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and Syria.

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Yasser Al-Jundi, Director of the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic. During the lecture, the speaker highlighted recent developments in Azerbaijan–Syria relations and outlined prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, educational and humanitarian fields.

Particular attention was paid to the proposed 2026–2030 roadmap for bilateral relations, focusing on political, economic, educational, and development cooperation.
