TURKPA participates in the GPLS at ADA University

On 26 May 2026, TURKPA Secretary of the Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs Mr. Mirlan Usenkanov attended the Global Perspectives Lecture Series (GPLS) on “Peacebuilding, Track 2, and Secret Diplomacy in the Middle East - A Historical Perspective,” organized by the Institute for Development and Diplomacy at ADA University. 

The lecture was delivered by Mr. Daniel Gerlach, Director of the Candid Foundation, who spoke about the concept of peacebuilding, the role of Track 2 diplomacy and informal mediation in conflict resolution, and also presented a historical overview of diplomatic processes and peace initiatives in the Middle East.

The event brought together representatives of the academic and diplomatic communities, providing a platform for in-depth discussion and the exchange of perspectives on contemporary international relations and conflict resolution mechanisms.
