The delegation of the Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan visited the Secretariat

On 13 October 2025, a delegation of the Mangystau Region of Kazakhstan, within the framework of a visit to Baku to exchange experience in the field of ethnomediation in connection with the acquisition of the status of Aktau as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2025, visited the TURKPA Secretariat. The Secretary General welcomed the delegation and provided them with the information on the Secretariat’s current and upcoming activities. He also highlighted the work of the Commissions of TURKPA, which cover various fields and develop model laws. In turn, the head of the delegation, Zhanbyrbay Matayev, briefed on the activities of the Mediation Council of the Mangystau Regional Office of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on prospects for future cooperation. The Mediation Council of the Mangystau Regional Office of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan is a body that facilitates the resolution of interethnic and social disputes, promotes harmony among communities, and strengthens consensus within society.
