Secretary General met with the OTS Secretary General

On 27 October 2025, Secretary General of TURKPA, H. E. Ambassador Ramil Hasan, paid a courtesy visit to Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev at the headquarters of the OTS Secretariat in İstanbul. Mr. Omuraliev warmly congratulated Mr. Hasan and wished him every success in his new responsibilities. Secretary General expressed his gratitude to Mr. Omuraliev for the warm reception of the TURKPA delegation at the OTS headquarters. Mr. Hasan briefed Mr. Omuraliev on the activities of the Parliamentary Assembly and shared his views on further developing the agenda of TURKPA, highlighting recent initiatives and upcoming projects aimed at enhancing parliamentary dialogue, promoting legislative coordination, and strengthening solidarity among the Turkic states. He also shared his views on the implementation of a new mechanism of cooperation with the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). OTS Secretary General expressed his support on the proposed initiatives and emphasized the importance of closer coordination between TURKPA and the OTS in achieving common objectives. Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication and to explore concrete mechanisms for collaboration. Secretary General was accompanied by his Deputies Talgat Aduov and Muhammet Alper Hayali.
