TURKPA Secretary General participates in UN international conference

On 21 September 2026, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Ambassador Ramil Hasan visited New York, USA, within the framework of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

As part of his visit programme, the Secretary General participated in the international conference entitled “The Invisible Architecture: Building Safe Digital Systems for Children – Advancing International Standards and Shared Responsibility,” organized at the initiative of H.E. Mrs. Emine Erdoğan, First Lady of the Republic of Türkiye.

The high-level event, which opened with an address by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, brought together the Queen of the Belgians, the First Lady of the Republic of Serbia, First Ladies from numerous countries, as well as representatives of international organizations, government institutions, ministries and media organizations.

The broad-scale conference featured in-depth discussions on building safe digital environments for children, advancing international standards, and strengthening shared responsibility in this field. On the sidelines of the conference, the Secretary General of TURKPA also held bilateral meetings with representatives of various international organizations.

During the visit and the event, the Secretary General was accompanied by his Deputy Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali.
