TURKPA participating in the WTO Public Forum

At the invitation of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Secretary of the Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Health Protection of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Aynura Abutalibova is participating in the World Trade Organization (WTO) Public Forum, which opened on 15 September 2026 in Geneva under the overall theme “Powering the Future.”
Over the course of three days, the Forum will bring together more than 4,600 participants from business, governments, civil society, academia and international organizations.
The Forum opened with a high-level panel discussion exploring how technological innovation, geopolitical shifts, climate challenges and evolving business models will shape the trading system of the future.
The Public Forum is the WTO’s largest annual outreach event. This year’s edition features a record number of 540 speakers across 113 sessions.
