TURKPA participated in the General Meeting of TDBB

TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Kürşad Melih Sarıarslan took part in the 4th Ordinary General Meeting of the Union of Turkish World Municipalities (TDBB) held on 9 September 2015 in Istanbul. The meeting was attended by the representatives of local authorities from the member countries and diplomatic missions accredited in Istanbul. The meeting’s agenda included evaluation and approval of the annual report on the Union’s activities, elaboration of new recommendations and proposals and election to the TDBB organs. At the meeting, Mr. Ibrahim Karaosmanoglu, head of the Kocaeli municipality, was re-elected the president of TDBB. TURKPA and TDBB participate in each other’s activities within the framework Memorandum of Cooperation between both organizations signed in 2013.
