TURKPA delegation meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the TRNC

On 19 July 2026, a delegation of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), led by Acting Deputy Secretary General of TURKPA Mr. Bektur Bazakechov and representing the Secretary General of TURKPA, met with H.E. Mr. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), within the framework of its visit to the TRNC.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their appreciation for the significant progress achieved in the relations between TURKPA and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus through various activities and events since the TRNC became an observer in TURKPA. They also reaffirmed their confidence that this cooperation would continue to deepen in the years ahead.

Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations Dr. Kadir Yaman also attended the meeting.
