TURKPA International Election Observation Mission observes voting process in Almaty

On 23 August 2026, on the day of parliamentary elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty group of the TURKPA International Election Observation Mission is monitoring the voting process in the city of Almaty.
The Mission members observed the opening of polling station at 07:00 and will continue to visit polling stations throughout election day until the end of voting at 20:00.
The members of the Mission also took part in the briefing for media and informed on their observation activities.
The Mission members will also observe the counting of votes at polling station.
The TURKPA International Election Observation Mission is conducting observation of the elections in the cities of Astana and Almaty in Kazakhstan.
