TURKPA participates in the 7th General Assembly of the IOFS

On 14 May 2026, Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Legal Affairs and International Relations Dr. Kadir Yaman participated in the 7th General Assembly of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS) entitled “Food Security through Cooperation and Innovation,” conducted in an online format.

The Assembly brought together ministers and senior representatives responsible for agriculture and food security from the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to discuss key issues related to strengthening food security, promoting sustainable agricultural development, and advancing innovative approaches across the OIC region. The meeting also provided an important platform for exchanging views on enhancing multilateral cooperation and addressing current challenges affecting agricultural sustainability and food systems.

Relations between TURKPA and IOFS have reached a new stage following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two organizations in 2021, further strengthening institutional dialogue and collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
