TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Participates in the 2nd Cooperation Forum of NGOs from the Member States of the OTS

On 16 May 2026, TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali participated in the 2nd Cooperation Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations from the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), organized by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during which he delivered a speech.

In his remarks, Mr. Hayali emphasized the strategic transformation of the Turkic world into a dynamic geopolitical reality driven by deepening institutional integration. He highlighted the the important synergy between civil society and parliamentary diplomacy, particularly through TURKPA, in fostering political solidarity and closer cooperation among the Turkic states.

Referring to the recent Informal Summit of the OTS, he described it as a reflection of the growing collective strength of the Turkic world, he noted the contribution of Turkic states to regional peace and stability and stressed the importance of coordinated efforts among academia, and media to further institutionalize this shared vision for future generations.

In this context, the Forum served as an important platform for dialogue, bringing together representatives of civil society organizations from across the Turkic states to discuss strengthening cooperation and advancing common initiatives.
