Secretary General of TURKPA received the Secretary General of the National Unity Party (UBP) of TRNC

On 12 June 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan received Ahmet Savaşan, Member of Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and Secretary General of the National Unity Party (UBP), the ruling party of the TRNC, at the TURKPA International Secretariat.

At the meeting, relations between TURKPA and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, which is represented with observer status, as well as future cooperation opportunities were discussed.

The meeting was also attended by TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali and the Third Secretary of the TRNC Representative Office in Baku Görkem Reis.
