TURKPA Secretary General participates in the visit to the Karabakh region

On 1-2 May 2026, TURKPA Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan took part in a visit to the Karabakh region, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the participation of the heads and representatives of diplomatic missions, accredited to Azerbaijan.

The visit was led by Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Mr. Hikmat Hajiyev.

As part of the program, visits were organized to the cities of Khojaly, Khankendi, Shusha, and Lachin. In the course of the visit, the participants were extensively briefed on the ongoing reconstruction, restoration, and landscaping projects carried out in the Karabakh region, and numerous questions from the participants were addressed.

During the visit, Secretary General was accompanied by his Deputy Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali.
