TURKPA attends exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Elbay Rzaguliyev

On 30 June 2026, Acting Secretary of the TURKPA Commission on Education, Culture, Social and Humanitarian Affairs Mr. Mirlan Usenkanov attended the guided tour of the exhibition “Elbay Rzaguliyev: An Artist Who Created with His Heart”, organized by the Embassy of Mexico in Azerbaijan at the Azerbaijan National Museum of Art.

The exhibition, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of People’s Artist Elbay Rzaguliyev, presents a comprehensive collection of more than 100 paintings, graphic works, film sketches, photographs and multimedia materials reflecting different stages of the artist’s life and creative career. The exhibition also highlights artworks inspired by his travels to Mexico, the United States, Japan, Nepal, Italy and other countries, demonstrating the international dimension of his artistic legacy.

As part of the cultural programme, pianist Ms. Aytac Rzaguliyeva performed selected works by Mexican composers, contributing to the promotion of cultural dialogue and mutual understanding between nations through music and art.

The event brought together representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations, cultural institutions and the artistic community, providing an opportunity to celebrate the enduring legacy of Elbay Rzaguliyev and to further strengthen intercultural dialogue and cooperation through cultural diplomacy.
