Speaker of Milli Majlis received TURKPA Secretary General

On 15 October 2025, Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan H.E. Mrs. Sahiba Gafarova received the delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) led by Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan. Speaker Sahiba Gafarova congratulated Ambassador Ramil Hasan on the commencement of his tenure as the TURKPA Secretary General and wished him every success in future activities. In turn, Secretary General expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and continued support to the activities and initiatives of TURKPA. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the Assembly's current and future activities and discussed new areas of cooperation for the coming period. Secretary General was accompanied by Deputies Secretary General Talgat Aduov, Saky Sadykov, Muhammet Alper Hayali, and Secretary of Commission Aynura Abutalibova.
