TURKPA took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the bas-relief of the Great Poet in Baku on Abai Day to the Great Poet in Baku on Abai Day

On August 10, 2026, on Abai Day the Staff of the International Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at the  bas-relief to the Great Poet, located in Baku. At the event, the diplomatic corps of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, led by the President of the Foundation Aktoty Raimkulova, and the Staff of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Azerbaijan paid tribute to the creative talent of the Great Poet and remembered his legacy that enriched the Turkic World.
