TURKPA Secretary General receives TİKA Coordinator for Azerbaijan

On 14 September 2026, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA) Ambassador Ramil Hasan received Mr. Mahmut Ağırman, the newly appointed Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) in Azerbaijan, at the International Secretariat.

Congratulating Mr. Ağırman on his appointment, the Secretary General wished him every success in his future endeavours and briefed him on the activities carried out by TURKPA over the past year, the important steps taken, as well as the forthcoming Plenary Session of TURKPA.

In turn, TİKA Coordinator for Baku thanked Mr. Hasan for the warm reception and expressed TİKA’s strong commitment to TURKPA, noting that TİKA, as one of the important institutions of the Republic of Türkiye, attaches great importance to TURKPA and stands ready to provide all possible support for the Assembly’s activities in the future. He also wished TURKPA continued success in its future endeavours.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali, Deputy Secretary General of TURKPA.
