TURKPA Mission met with Chairman of Supreme Election Council of Türkiye

On 13 May 2023, TURKPA Election Observation Mission taking part in the monitoring process of the presidential election and parliamentary general elections in Türkiye met with Ahmet Yener, Chairman of the Supreme Election Council (SEC) of the Republic of Türkiye. During the meeting, TURKPA observers were informed on the preparations for and main features of the elections. Chairman of the SEC briefed on the election system and election administration, and replied to the questions of the Mission members. The Mission noted the rich experience of the Republic of Türkiye on holding elections and wished success in conducting of the upcoming elections.
