The delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), led by Secretary General Ambassador Ramil Hasan, participated in the 23rd Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, held on 17–19 November 2025 in Istanbul.
Hosted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, the Autumn Meeting featured a Parliamentary Conference under the theme “The OSCE at 50: Revitalizing Multilateralism through Dialogue and Co-operation”, the Inaugural Session, three thematic Sessions, a meeting of the Mediterranean Forum, as well as a meeting of the Standing Committee.
During the official programme, the TURKPA delegation participated in the main sessions open to partner and observer institutions, contributing to discussions on dialogue, mediation, regional connectivity, human dignity, and inter-parliamentary cooperation across the OSCE region.
In the margins of the Autumn Meeting, TURKPA organized the First Coordination Meeting of the National Delegations, aimed at strengthening institutional interaction and enhancing synergy among the parliaments of the Turkic States.
During the visit, Secretary General Ramil Hasan also had meetings with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş and Secretary General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Mr. Roberto Montella. The discussions laid a solid basis for expanding future cooperation, enhancing multilateral engagement, and further promoting shared parliamentary objectives.
During the official visit, Secretary General was accompanied by his Deputy, Muhammet Alper Hayali, and the Secretary of the Commission, Aynura Abutalibova.
