TURKPA delegation led by Secretary General H. E. Ambassador Ramil Hasan participates in the 25th Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which kicked off on 19 February 2026 at the Congress Center Hofburg in Vienna, Austria.
On the margins of the Plenary Session the TURKPA delegation, attending with special guest status, met with the delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, Hungary and Uzbekistan and exchanged views on the ongoing process of obtaining observer status of TURKPA in the OSCE PA and informed them that the required signatures have already been collected and that the necessary procedures have been completed by the TURKPA International Secretariat under the current Chairmanship of Kazakhstan.
At the same time, it was agreed to bring the issue forward for discussion at the next stage in both the Bureau and the Standing Committee of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and to implement a joint Roadmap by the delegations to achieve concrete results towards obtaining observer status of TURKPA.
The discussions were engaged in by Mr. Gaya Mammadov, Head of the Delegation of Azerbaijan to the OSCE PA, Ms. Ainur Argynbekova, Deputy Head of the Delegation of Kazakhstan to the OSCE PA, Ms. Medina Kayrilbekova, Alternate Member of the Delegation of Kyrgyzstan to the OSCE PA, Mr. Selami Altınok, Head of the Delegation of Türkiye to the OSCE PA, Mr. Odiljon Mamatkarimov, Member of the Delegation of Uzbekistan to the OSCE PA, and the Delegation of Hungary to the OSCE PA.
The delegation includes Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali, Secretary of the Commission Aynur Abutalibova and Head of the Protocol Service Yadigar Mammadov.
