TURKPA attended the International Parliamentary Conference

On 29 October 2025, Deputy Secretary General Muhammet Alper Hayali and Secretary of the Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Health Protection Aynura Abutalibova attended the International Parliamentary Conference organized by the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Baku. The Conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held under the theme “The Constitution as the Foundation of the Independence and Sovereignty of States in the Contemporary World.” The event was attended by parliamentary delegations from nearly 20 countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. Within the framework of the Conference, the participants exchanged views on the role of constitutions in strengthening the legal foundations of modern states, as well as on the protection of state sovereignty and national independence. Delivering a speech at the conference, Deputy Secretary General of TURKPA Muhammet Alper Hayali emphasized the Constitution’s role as the foundation of a democratic state and highlighted TURKPA’s work in promoting legislative cooperation and inter-parliamentary dialogue.
