TURKPA and PAM signed Memorandum of Understanding

On 16 December 2020, TURKPA Secretary General Altynbek Mamaiusupov and Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) Mr. Sergio Piazzi signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between two organizations. The parties noted the great potential for cooperation between the organizations and stressed the significance of the Memorandum that will contribute to maintaining regular exchange of information, consultations, possible joint activities. Cooperation between TURKPA and PAM will cover areas of mutual interest such as security and counter-terrorism, trade and investment, sustainable development, good governance and rule of law, cultural and social affairs, environmental protection, as well as crisis management and response to COVID-19 pandemic.
