Secretary General visited State Committee on Azerbaijani Diaspora

On 8 April 2019, Secretary General Mr. Altynbek Mamaiusupov met with the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Valeh Hajiyev. During the meeting, Secretary General mentioned that Azerbaijan pursues successful policy on diaspora issues and noted the importance of working on joint events in the future. He talked about the platform which could bring together Turkic-speaking people living abroad. Deputy Chairman also talked on the significance of joint actions of the Turkic-speaking countries. He noted that the countries should consolidate more efforts to increase efficiency on diaspora issues. In general, parties also exchanged views on future cooperation opportunities and joint activities.
