Secretary General met with his counterpart at IPA CIS

On 7 October 2022, Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er met with his counterpart at the IPA CIS Dmitriy Kobitskiy, within the framework of the Conference "CIS Convention on the Standards of Democratic Elections: Open Space for International Cooperation" held in St. Petersburg. The Secretaries General discussed the prospects of cooperation in the main areas of activity of the organizations. They positively noted the meetings held between the election observation missions of the two organizations during the elections and referenda in member states. Both parties reaffirmed readiness to further develop cooperation and noted the importance of close interaction.
