Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized a visit to Jabrayil and Zangilan

On 31 October 2025, TURKPA Deputy Secretary General Talgat Aduov took part in a visit to the Jabrayil and Zangilan districts of Azerbaijan, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. About 100 diplomatic representatives from 51 countries and 12 international organizations participated in the visit, led by Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Vahid Hajiyev, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, briefed the delegation on the implementation of large-scale restoration and infrastructure initiatives. The program included visits to the “Dost Agropark” livestock complex, Hakari railway station, as well as key social and residential facilities in the city of Zangilan, including a residential complex, a school, a kindergarten, and the Zangilan city mosque. At the Zangilan Congress Center, the delegation attended a briefing on the “Zangezur Corridor — Regional Transport Network” with the participation of representatives of the relevant government agencies. The visit concluded with a site visit to Aghbend settlement, where participants were briefed on the construction of railway and road tunnels within the framework of the Zangezur project. The diplomatic corps noted the scale, pace, and strategic importance of the reconstruction works, reflecting Azerbaijan’s commitment to sustainable development and the revitalization of its liberated territories.
