Minister of Foreign Affairs of TRNC visited TURKPA Headquarters

On 27 November 2025, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), H.E. Ambassador Ramil Hasan, welcomed a courtesy visit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), H.E. Mr. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, at the TURKPA International Secretariat in Baku. The meeting, held in a warm and fraternal atmosphere with the participation of the TRNC's Baku Representative, H.E. Ambassador Mrs. Ufuk Turganer, and Third Secretary Mr. Görkem Reis, served as a significant platform to discuss enhancing cooperation and further strengthening the TRNC's visibility within the framework of the Turkic States. Minister Ertuğruloğlu, who was in Baku on an official visit, expressed his profound pleasure at being hosted at the TURKPA International Secretariat. He conveyed his gratitude to Secretary General Ambassador Hasan for their steadfast support and constructive efforts in increasing the active participation and representation of the TRNC within the Assembly's activities. In return, Secretary General Ramil Hasan reiterated his honor and satisfaction in welcoming Foreign Minister Ertuğruloğlu to TURKPA. Expressing his confidence in the future of cooperation, Secretary General Hasan affirmed his belief that the meetings previously hosted by the TRNC would continue in the upcoming period. He further emphasized that the TRNC's active participation in the Assembly's key events would continue to be fully supported by the TURKPA Secretariat. The meeting was also attended by the Secretary of the TURKPA Commission, Kadir Yaman; Chief of Protocol, Yadigar Mammadov; Research Expert, Kamila Muzaffarli; and Assistant to the TURKPA Secretary General, Takhmina Bakieva.
